About Me
Hi there! I'm Kyra, and I love Jesus Christ dearly. I started writing Christian material about 5 years ago (admittedly, only for a short while) before stopping. Thankfully, the Lord has placed it on my heart to start back again. After all, I'm not shy about lending my opinion on the things going on in the world today or about sharing the only true hope that can only be found by placing faith in Jesus Christ. I figured this would be a more organized way to share my thoughts on various topics from a biblical perspective. So, here I am!
Why I started this blog
My primary reason for creating this site was to push myself to read God's word more and study more difficult subjects. I've recently come to the realization that Christ gave himself up for me-not so I could simply live this comfortable life void of any meaningful work for the kingdom-but so that I can love him with ALL my heart, soul, mind, and strength. This means prioritizing the things of the Lord over my so-called "free time" and focusing more on my spiritual growth. My lifelong goal is to crucify my flesh daily in my pursuit of complete holiness in every area of my life as well as increasing in brotherly love, knowledge, and discernment. After all, that's what Christians do! :) Besides, without spending any meaningful/significant time in God's word, I won't be able to accomplish this.
Ultimate Goal
Another reason I created this site was to be a biblical voice of reason in a world that loves and thrives in darkness. Our culture is steadily growing more hostile towards Christian beliefs and values. Since the gospel must be shared regardless of cultural circumstances, silence is not an option for me. I want to be used as God’s vessel to reach both lost and saved Christian women so that that those who are already saved are encouraged by what I write and those who don’t know Christ may come to know the only way of salvation, which is placing faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
What to expect
Majority of my topics will be bible driven-meaning the inspiration of the topic will be pulled directly from the bible. There are times I feel moved to discuss certain issues, but other times, I might discuss something happening in the world or a topic requested by someone. You can expect me to discuss matters regarding theology, christian dating/marriage/being single as a Christian, controversial Spiritual matters, and growing in the faith. Either way, I hope it provokes others to think about these things from a biblical worldview. I just want the name of Christ to be glorified!
